During a recent appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him Her Podcast, the speaker revealed that they were not suited to social media. In their words, “I’m too fragile a person. My ego and brain just can’t handle it. I feel like a delicate flower.”

According to Scarlett, her opinion is that social media and reading comments could further aggravate her anxiety.

Furthermore, Scarlett revealed that during a brief period of time when she had a clandestine social media account for just three days, she found herself becoming overly engrossed with it.

She admitted that she caught herself spending 20 minutes scrolling through an Instagram profile of someone who happened to work for a friend of hers. Now, she’s aware that this person has two daughters, a pit bull, and lives in Burbank.

Scarlett expressed her disbelief, saying “Can you believe it? I spent 17 minutes on this and now I feel like I need to relocate to California, adopt their dog, and make some major changes in my own life. It’s crazy how invested I became in a stranger’s life, it made me feel like I was missing out on something important.”

Scarlett realized that she gets so engrossed in her phone like a toddler playing with their mother’s phone. She compared herself to a 3-year-old who can’t let go of the phone and that’s why she decided not to have it.
